Manama, Bahrain – Daleel achieved a significant milestone by winning first place in the 2023 Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI) finals held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Competing against shortlisted fintechs, Daleel emerged as the winner, securing a grand prize of USD 40,000.

The judging panel, which included industry leaders such as Yasmeen Al-Sharaf, Director of FinTech & Innovation at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Nasser AlKathiri, Director of Entrepreneurship Enablement at Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, Firas Al Lawati - Acting GM payment Central Bank of Oman, Carl Manlan – VP for Inclusive Impact & Sustainability at Visa – CEMEA region, Ali Bailoun, Visa’s Regional General Manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman, and Nezar Alhaidar, Director of Fintech Saudi, was captivated by Daleel’s consumer-centric approach and its potential to simplify and revolutionize financial accessibility across the region.
