Manama, Bahrain - Daleel, the MENA region’s first financial marketplace, secured the first prize of USD 30,000 at the third cohort of Standard Chartered Bank’s Women in Tech program, organized in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Women and Bahrain Fintech Bay held under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain.

The awards ceremony, hosted at Bahrain Fintech Bay, brought together notable attendees including Dr Boutros Klink, CEO of Standard Chartered Middle East; Muna Al Hashemi, member of the Women in Fintech Committee at the Supreme Council for Women; Bader Sater, CEO of Bahrain Fintech Bay; and Tariq Al Alawi, Director of Information Technology at the Central Bank of Bahrain.

The judging panel was impressed by Daleel’s innovative approach to addressing financial challenges in the MENA region. The company’s commitment to making finance both easy and accessible for everyone, while empowering financial institutions with data-driven solutions, set it apart as a leader in financial innovation. Second place went to A Wonder Within, and third place was awarded to UniRecon. All winners will also participate in a three-month incubation program at Bahrain Fintech Bay to further scale their innovations.
